We are excited to announce a new opportunity with our rapidly expanding non-profit organization with locations throughout the five Burroughs of New York City. As the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you would have an opportunity to join a team of Mental Health Providers and clinicians to treat patients in the under served community. You would be working alongside other Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Psychiatrists, and social workers to discuss clinical practice. Our organization has made significant strides over the past 30 years and we are continuing to help fight the mental illness epidemic. We serve thousands of people across the five burroughs and strive to make sure the difference we make in the community changes people’s lives permanently. Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Location: Brooklyn NY (Canarsie area)
Salary: $130,000 to $145,000, DOE

Performing psychiatric evaluations and medication management to mostly adult population but some child and adolescence as well
Responsible for seeing 10-12 patients per day
1 hour allotted for Psychiatric evaluations
30 minutes for medication management
Using Cerner EMR system to document notes
Working partially telehealth remote
Consulting with Psychiatrists and NP’s about clinical practice
Working with patients suffering from severe chronic mental illness
Interacting with support team
Handling prior authorizations
Designing treatment protocol for patients
Interacting with patient family members when needed

Graduate of accredited Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program
Board Certification or Board Eligible
Active or in process DEA license
We will see new graduates!
Active New York Medical License
