As a Cloud Security Engineer you will be responsible to help monitor, build, and maintain the security infrastructure through the use of bleeding edge security tooling and process solutions and help to ensure data security and integrity across all cloud platforms. Reporting to the CISO you will have the opportunity to make an impact and leverage your skills, while learning new ones, within an exciting team dynamic.

Title: Cloud Security Engineer
Location: Fairfield County, CT

• Identify, resolve, and mitigate vulnerabilities on AWS and GCP cloud systems and platforms, from;
o Secure configuration and system hardening
o Vulnerability scanning and assessments
o Operational and runtime practices and procedures
o Log and event analysis and alerting
• Maintain keen awareness of the cloud infrastructure security landscape and emerging threat vectors
• Perform penetration testing against infrastructure, platform, and applications
• Manage firewalls, load balancers, and web application firewalls (WAF)
• Assist in the creation of cybersecurity standards and implementing security best practices across all technology platforms, following industry standard frameworks
• Identify and evaluate risks in the cloud infrastructure and work with stakeholders to mitigate
• Deploy and administer endpoint security solutions
• Work with CI and CD tools, and source control such as GIT and GitLab

• At least 5 years of systems security engineering experience within either the AWS or GCP ecosystems
• Hands-on experience managing and maintaining WAF’s, firewalls and load balancers
• Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, and administration of AWS, and GCP
• Strong communication skills and ability to evangelize best practices for security across all teams and management
• Experience working with either Ansible, Puppet or Chef for automation and configuration management

Nice to Have:
• Experience using Terraform, TerraGrunt and/or Cloudformation
• Knowledge of blockchain technologies and fault tolerant protocols
• FinTech industry exposure
• Cryptocurrency knowledge
