Title: Senior Corporate Accountant
Salary: $80K – 100K
Location: Stamford, CT

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Together with the divisional finance teams, assist in the preparation of supplemental reporting schedules and variance analyses for monthly and quarterly results
• Support the technical accounting team in the implementation of new accounting standards including issuing and updating of corporate accounting policies and procedures, and assist in training accounting team member globally
• Interact with subsidiaries and other corporate departments to coordinate the timing and the contents of all deliverables
• Interface with Internal/ External audit, tax and valuation specialists
• Remain current with the latest developments in accounting and financial reporting
• Support the annual goodwill impairment assessment process and coordinate work with external valuation specialists
• Assist in periodic financial reviews of subsidiary companies to ensure compliance with accounting standards
Qualifications
• 4+ years of related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required. A Master’s Degree is a plus
• CPA certification highly preferred
• Knowledge of accounting standards for manufacturing and service industries
• Knowledge of revenue recognition and financial/external reporting
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and global teams
• Ownership, control and accountability for all areas of responsibility and commitments made to others
• Experience with SAP/BPC is a plus
• Experience in a large global organization, as well as public accounting/corporate accounting mix of experience preferred
