This position is responsible for the design, development, maintenance and implementation of projects within the financial management group to optimize analyses of the organization’s financial position via financial systems.

Title: Senior Financial Systems Analyst
Location: Fairfield, CT
Salary: $85,000 to $95,000

Responsibilities:
Design, development, maintenance and implementation of projects within the financial management group to optimize analyses of the organization’s financial position.
Designs, develops and implements new systems, functionality, upgrades and maintenance for systems applications within the financial management group.
Participate in the planning for these projects.
Performs testing of system, data conversion, and implementation of new and existing financial systems, ensuring clear and concise documentation of all functions performed.
Acts as a resource to the financial management group and departments throughout the organization on issues regarding modifications and maintenance of financial systems.
Help junior staff members and participates in their training.
Identifies issues and efficiencies with current system functions
Provides training to system users throughout the organization and acts as a resource to these users on more complex system functionality and report writing.
Interacts with external vendors on current system issues, enhancements, and upgrades of current and potential financial systems.
Administers the security of financial bank software ensuring compliance with internal standards.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Technology, or related field. Masters is a plus
3+ years relevant experience.
OLAP experience.
TM1 is a plus.
Experience with financial application for GL, AP and Fixed Assets.
Infor application experience preferred.
Excellent PC skills including word processing, spreadsheet, internet, database and internal software.
Excellent communication skills to correspond with a wide range of employees throughout the organization.
Knowledge of accounting principles and the organization’s unique accounting flows.
Excellent analytical and research skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage small projects or phases of larger projects.
