We are currently hiring for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for an exciting new program to work on our Intensive Mobile Treatment Team and ACT Team. As the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you would be working closely with other behavioral staff members and going out in the field to see patients. You would see patients with another clinician. The ideal person we are looking for must have a strong interested in treating patients in the underserved community suffering from chronic mental health illness. Our organization is geared towards providing quality care to a wide range of patients suffering from substance abuse disorders, anxiety, schizophrenia, and depression. Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Location: New York, NY
Salary: $85/hour + full benefits

Responsibilities:
Working closely with clinicians to treat patients suffering from various mental health ailments
Interacting with Psychiatrist and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner about cases
Performing residential and community outreach
Involved in giving IM injections
Performing medication management and psychiatric evaluations
Documents notes in EMR system
Involved in therapy sessions
Managing a case load of roughly 2-3 patients per day

Requirements:
Graduate of accredited Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Master’s Degree Program
We will see new graduates!
Psychiatric RN/NP experience strongly preferred
NY PMHNP license
Board Certification or Board Eligible
Active or in process DEA license
Must work well with co workers in collaborative setting
