Title: Sr Solutions Architect
Location: Stamford, CT, Hartford, CT, Morristown, NJ, Exton PA – Hybrid
Salary: $160,000 – 180,000 + 20% Bonus

Responsibilities:

This Sr Solutions Architect is a hands-on, execution focused role helping translate the Insurance strategy, define architecture, and deliver the solution. In this role you will have an understanding of Insurance systems (ideally Guidewire or similar Policy and Billing software packages) and processes and function as an Insurance architecture subject matter expert for our various projects. Your expertise in Insurance products will help guide and reimagine solutions for Submission, Rate, Quote, Bind, Policy Administration, Servicing and Underwriting processes. You will learn this organizations existing architecture (current state), work with high level business customers to understand their future state vision and translate this into an architecture and road map.

You will guide the full lifecycle of a solutions which includes:
Understand the Business Capabilities that are required and translate this to Technical Capabilities and Solution Architecture
Design architecture and solutions to meet business requirements in a manner that balances architectural standards, and implementation and operational risks
Ensure the future-state solutions have been fully vetted, are performant and scalable, enable agility, can be supported, are cost effective and highly available
Be hands on to demonstrate tools, patterns, security, performance, scalability
Present architecture decisions, explain the end-to-end solution, educate others how they can contribute
Participate in the definition and maintenance of Architecture principles and artifacts
Present architecture decisions, explain the end-to-end solution, educate others how they can contribute, and provide guidance on tool usage

Requirements:
6+ years of Solutions Architecture experience
Possess broad and deep insurance and architecture expertise and knowledge
Experience working in the Property Casualty Insurance Industry, experience working as a Solutions Architect in an underwriting area, understanding Submission, Rate, Quote, Bind, Policy Administration, Servicing
Prior Guidewire implementation experience
Hands-on experience with architecting, implementing, and performance tuning of Insurance products & services, Modern Policy Administration Systems
Azure and/or AWS cloud platform environment experience
Some Integration Architecture experience preferred
