Title: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Hampden County, Massachusetts
Compensation: $50,000 – $75,000

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll work directly with the Project Manager to help organize, track, and support all administrative and coordination aspects of construction projects from startup through closeout.
Assisting with project setup, including submittal registers and project documentation logs
Supporting development and maintenance of project schedules
Preparing weekly progress reports and two-week look-ahead schedules alongside field leadership
Assisting with permit acquisition and coordination for project compliance
Scheduling recurring construction meetings and preparing meeting minutes
Reviewing and tracking submittals to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely approvals
Maintaining submittal logs and ensuring documentation is properly filed within project systems
Monitoring RFIs and maintaining project tracking logs to prevent delays
Assisting with budget tracking, vendor invoicing, change orders, and project modifications
Maintaining organized project documentation including correspondence, daily reports, schedules, photos, and project records
Coordinating closely with subcontractors and supporting subcontractor procurement efforts
Assisting with project closeout, including financial reconciliation and documentation verification

Requirements:

1 year of construction experience required
Experience in commercial, federal, or municipal construction (no residential experience)
Federal project experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Experience reading construction drawings preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
Experience with Procore and/or Sage preferred
Detail-oriented with strong documentation management skills
