We have recently been engaged by a specialist Healthcare Investment Banking platform who are in growth mode. This healthcare boutique has been around less than 20 years and are true market specialists. They have continuously taken up market share despite the challenges of today’s M&A market due to their differentiating strategy. The firm is predicting a very busy 2026 and beyond with significant deal flow.

Currently, they are looking to bring on a strong Healthcare Services Investment Banking – Managing Director with a revenue generating track record in the middle markets. The ideal candidate is an experienced Healthcare MD from a mid market firm, ultra boutique or even a bulge bracket background with a focus on Sell Side M&A. The key to this role is a book of business, sub sector expertise and an itch for the entrepreneurial journey. The upside is unlimited as a fully remote model is an option with a top of the line commission structure.

Title – Healthcare Investment Banking – MD
Location – New York, NY (Remote)
Salary – $200,000-$250,000 + Bonus/Commission

Responsibilities:

• As an experienced Healthcare Investment Banking MD, you will be a key member in developing and fostering client relationships, while working to be an advisor from a primary Sell Side of M&A transaction
• Work with juniors and conduct industry research, be a true market specialist in the Healthcare industry vertical and proactively originate deals worth $30mn-$300mn
• Interact and build client relationships with Investment Bankers, Private Equity clients and Venture Capital clients
• Gather, research and proactively analyze the market to support and participate Business Development activities such as sourcing, reaching out to prospects and foster industry relationships
• Be the lead on engagements as well as support and organize meeting with clients

Requirements:

• Any sector of Healthcare Investment Banking experience, overall 10 – 15 years of Investment Banking or more, can have broad experience but recent deal activity has to be in the Healthcare Services spae
• Experience in originating Healthcare Services & HC IT deals and closing deals, generating $2mn to $4mn on a yearly basis (2 to 3 deals per year)
• Bachelor’s Degree (from a Finance discipline is preferred along with a MBA)
• Hungry, driven and ambition to be a high performing Investment Banker that wants to be a leader in the firm, grow with the firm and be in the entrepreneurial journey
• Series 63 and 79 certified
