Title: Operations Manager

Salary: $120,000 to $150,000

What You Will Do

Own daily production execution across fabrication, installation, and service teams
Manage scheduling, crew allocation, and capacity planning across multiple active jobs
Implement and enforce labor tracking systems tied to job performance
Establish installation benchmarks and integrate them into estimating workflows
Review proposals for labor feasibility before project kickoff
Monitor production efficiency, labor variance, and margin performance
Centralize and oversee material purchasing and approval workflows
Ensure change orders are properly captured and documented
Formalize job completion processes tied to invoicing accuracy
Lead weekly production meetings and enforce accountability with foremen and crews
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions
Align production capacity with sales pipeline and backlog

What Success Looks Like:

90 Days: Fully implemented production tracking, structured weekly cadence, clear performance visibility
6–12 Months: Defined benchmarks, improved predictability, stronger margins, scalable operational infrastructure

Skills Needed for Success

5+ years of experience in construction or field service operations management
Proven ability to manage multiple field crews and production workflows
Strong understanding of job costing, labor tracking, and gross margin management
Experience with ERP/field service systems (ServiceTitan, Jobber, Business Central, or similar)
Demonstrated success implementing structured processes and systems
Confident leadership style with the ability to hold teams accountable professionally
Highly organized, detail-driven, and systems-oriented
Calm and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Growth-minded with interest in long-term leadership opportunities
