Project Engineer

We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join a full-service construction team that specializes in delivering complex, mission-critical projects for federal agencies and multinational clients. Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction activities from pre-design through completion. Title: Project Engineer
Location: Project-based | On-site
Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 base salary

What You’ll Do:

Partner with architects and engineers across all project phases, from pre-construction and design through completion, helping shape budgets, timelines, and procurement plans.
Review design documents for constructability and distribute to clients and subcontractors.
Build and maintain project schedules, including monthly progress tracking and updates.
Manage change orders and scope changes across clients, subcontractors, and designers.
Help secure vendors and subcontractors, monitor costs, and support overall budget management.
Identify and mitigate project risks, and coordinate with owners and security officers on base access and clearances.
Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring alignment with plans, specs, and safety standards.
Coordinate subcontractors and vendors for timely, quality delivery of materials and services.
Document and coordinate meetings, manage submittals and RFIs, and support QC inspections to uphold project quality.

What You Bring:

Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
Experience as a Construction Project Engineer or Project Manager.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong computer literacy.
Experience with Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Procore.
Willingness to travel and relocate near project sites.
Eligible to obtain an Employer-Sponsored U.S. Government Security Clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship).
