Title: Research Data Analyst
Location: Remote
Salary: $80,000–$100,000
What You’ll Do
• Design quantitative experiments around clear learning objectives and real-world execution requirements.
• Support the execution and management of in-market experiments.
• Collect, investigate, clean, and validate raw retailer sales and survey data.
• Apply statistical techniques including regression, optimization, and other quantitative methods to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Transform complex datasets into clear recommendations aligned with client objectives.
• Build dashboards and reports that make findings easy to understand.
• Create compelling data visualizations and presentations that bring insights to life.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping deliverables on schedule.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop scalable analytical tools and more efficient processes.
• Help turn complex quantitative findings into a clear, compelling business story.
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• Master’s degree or Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics is a plus.
• 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, quantitative research, or a related field.
• Understanding of how CPG brands use data to drive business and product decisions.
• CPG experience strongly preferred, particularly in food, beverage, personal care, or home care.
• Proficiency with statistical software, particularly R.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Experience with syndicated data such as IRI, NIQ, or Nielsen is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Intellectual curiosity and a genuine desire to solve difficult problems.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive, positive approach.
• Ability to adapt quickly as projects and client needs evolve.
