Senior Project Manager

A well-established construction firm in Oxford, CT is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects, particularly in the heavy highway and civil sectors. Key Responsibilities:

Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and internal teams to define project scope and objectives.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
Oversee contract administration and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Identify and mitigate project risks; resolve issues promptly.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in heavy highway or civil construction.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and safety regulations.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
OSHA 10 certification preferred.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.
