Position Details
Title: Financial Controller
Location: Mt Kisco, NY
Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 annually, based on experience

Requirements
Own full-cycle accounting activities and drive monthly close processes
Process and oversee weekly payroll operations
Manage accounts receivable, collections, and cash flow tracking
Ensure documentation standards are met prior to invoicing
Maintain accurate job costing and financial data within ERP systems
Participate in weekly production and operational review meetings
Develop and maintain job-level profitability and margin reporting
Analyze vendor spending and recommend cost-control opportunities
Review commission calculations and their impact on profitability
Support leadership with financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions
Help establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial discipline
Qualifications
5+ years of Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting experience
Construction, project-based, manufacturing, field service, or operational accounting experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of job costing, project profitability, and margin analysis
Experience managing payroll and accounts receivable functions
Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proven track record of implementing processes and improving financial controls
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, production, and leadership teams
CPA or accounting degree preferred but not required based on relevant experience
