This firm has been around for almost 50 years with a track record of M&A deals in the middle market. Historically they have done work in the Healthcare, Consumer, Industrials & Business Services sectors. Typically this firm advise companies that are between $100mn to ~$300mn in Enterprise Value. Title: Industrials Investment Banking – Managing Director
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 + Bonus
Location: Samford / Hartford CT

Responsibilities:

• Work along side all members of the senior/junior Investment Bankers
• Originate deals and client engagements on the Sell-side of mid market companies
• Focus on Business Development, key is to have an existing book of business
• Be the lead MD or back up MD on Transaction
• Conduct research, stay up to date on market trends in the M&A world
• Create and maintain a book of business
• Industry focus – Aerospace, Defense & Government Services, Industrials Services, B2B Business Services, Manufacturing or Paper & Packaging

Requirements:

• BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
• Anywhere between 10- 15 yrs of combined work experience in Investment Banking, M&A Advisory and or Corporate Development
• Track record of source, originate, execute and close M&A deals
• Book of business in the middle markets
• Strong interpersonal, communications, listening skills and business acumen
• Able to work on multiple live deals at once,
• Be a leader and possibly take on a broader leader role with the firm
• Strong drive and worth ethic to get things done
