We are partnering with a leading independent Investment Banking platform that is continuing to expand its Industrials franchise across North America (and globally). This is an opportunity to join a highly respected, growth-oriented advisory platform with strong momentum across Industrial Services, Building Products, Infrastructure Services, Construction & Engineering, Business Services, Distribution, Industrial Technology and broader Industrials sectors like Aerospace, Defense and Government Services.

The team advises a variety of businesses such as, founder-owned businesses, private equity-backed companies, family-owned enterprises, and public corporations on strategic M&A and capital advisory assignments. The group has developed a strong reputation across Industrial Services, Facility Services, Infrastructure & Utility Services, Distribution, Building Products & Materials, Environmental Services, Engineering Services, Transportation & Logistics, Industrial Technology, and the Built Environment ecosystem.

Title: Industrials Investment Banking – Vice President
Salary: $225,000 to $275,000 BASE + Bonus
Location: New York, NY (On Site)

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day execution of M&A and capital advisory transactions across the Industrials sector
• Manage sell-side and buy-side M&A processes from initial marketing through close with limited oversight
• Support origination efforts through strategic outreach, pitch development, and long-term relationship building
• Develop deep expertise across Industrial Services, Building Products, Infrastructure Services, and related Industrials verticals, having great M&A deal exp is a major plus, coming from a boutique or bulge bracket background
• Work directly alongside MDs and Directors on strategic client engagements
• Advise clients on strategic alternatives, growth initiatives, capital structure decisions, and portfolio optimization opportunities
• Coordinate and oversee due diligence processes with clients, buyers, investors, legal counsel, accounting firms, and third-party advisors
• Lead preparation of management presentations,
• Analyze market dynamics, transaction activity, valuation trends, and sector intelligence in real time
• Maintain strong awareness of broader macroeconomic, infrastructure, and industrial market trends impacting clients and deal activity
• Supervise and review financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials across M&A and financing assignments
• Manage and mentor Associates and Analysts while maintaining high execution standards across all workstreams
• Help drive broader franchise growth initiatives and contribute to long-term team building efforts
• Build long-term relationships with management teams, private equity sponsors, and strategic buyers across the Industrials ecosystem

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• MBA is a plus but not required
• 6–8+ years of relevant experience within Investment Banking or Corporate Advisory
• Prior Industrials, Industrial Services, Building Products, Infrastructure Services, Business Services, or related sector Investment Banking experience strongly preferred
• Significant M&A transaction experience across both buy-side and sell-side engagements
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, accounting, and strategic advisory work
• Proven ability to independently manage deal execution and oversee junior banking teams
• Demonstrated track record of leading multiple live transactions simultaneously under tight timelines
• Strong communication and client management skills with executive presence
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-performance culture
• FINRA licenses including Series 7, 79, and 63
• Open to travel as required by clients and transaction activity
• Must have prior experience mentoring and managing Analysts and Associates
• Enthusiasm for Industrial Services, Building Products, Infrastructure, Construction Services, or the broader Built Environment sector is highly valued
