The firm has been around for well over 50 years with global clients and a full service Investment Bank.

Title – Industrials Investment Banking – VP
Location(s) – New York, NY OR Chicago, IL
Salary – $250,000 to $275,000 + Bonus

Responsibilities:

Support transaction execution
Source deals and possibly bring on deals
Origination activities, pitches, decks and build long term industry relationships
Work hand in hand with the Senior Industrials MDs and Directors
Advise on Buy/Sell side M&A activities
Work on capital raising efforts
Engage in the due diligence process of deals
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Bankers (Associates & Analysts)
Analyze market data and understand current market trends based on real time date
Enthusiastic about the Industrials market, being a market specialist in any sub sector will help you stand out as a candidate

Requirements:

BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
Anywhere between 6 yrs – 8 yrs of relevant experience, only Banking or combination of Investment Banking and Corporate Advisory
STRONG M&A Exp is a must from buy-side & sell side

Industrials Investment Banking exp. as a VP
Must be able to run an M&A process
Must have a track record of leading small teams (4-6 junior)
Mid market background is a big plus, or any of the Elite Boutique Bank
