Title: Insurance Investment Banking – Vice President
Salary: $250,000 +Bonus
Location: New York, NY (On Site)

Responsibilities:

• Lead transaction execution
• Lead Insurance team teams
• Be a team leader
• Support firm growth initiatives in the group
• Origination activities, pitches, decks and build long term industry relationships
• Work hand in hand with the Senior Insurance IB MDs/Directors
• Continuously grow market intel in M&A deals
• Advise on Buy/Sell side M&A activities, structure deals ,
• Engage in the due diligence process
• Financial Models in all deal types, M&A/financing
• mentorship to junior Bankers (Associates & Analysts)
• Analyze market data and understand current market trends based on real time date
• Insurance Investment Banking M&A experience is a must with a track record of deals with a bulge or boutique is preferred

Requirements:

• BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
• MBA is nice to have but not needed
• Anywhere between 4 yrs – 8 yrs of relevant experience, only Banking or combination of Investment Banking and Corporate Advisory
• Needs to have an Insurance industry background for the VP level (not required for Associates/Analysts)
• Insurance M&A Exp is a must from buy-side & sell side
• Clear communication skills, both written/verbal
• Licenses preferred are Series 7, 79 & 63
• Open to travel as needed by clients
• Must have a track record of leading small teams (4-6 junior Bankers)
• Minimum 5 yrs of Investment Banking experience is ideal (all with FIG/Insurance focused)
