Title: Industrials Investment Banking – Associate
Salary: $175,000 – $225,000 + Bonus
Location: New York, NY (On Site)

Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day execution of M&A and capital advisory transactions across the Industrials sector
• Assist in managing sell-side and buy-side M&A processes from initial marketing through closing
• Build and maintain detailed financial models including valuation analyses, merger models, LBO analyses, and operating models
• Prepare client materials including pitch books, management presentations, confidential information memoranda, board presentations, and transaction marketing materials
• Conduct industry research and analyze market dynamics, valuation trends, transaction activity, and competitive positioning across Industrials sectors
• Coordinate due diligence processes with clients, buyers, investors, legal counsel, accounting firms, and other third-party advisors
• Work directly alongside MDs, Directors, Vice Presidents, and clients on strategic engagements
• Develop deep sector knowledge across Industrial Services, Building Products, Infrastructure Services, Construction Services, and related Industrials verticals
• Assist in preparing strategic analyses related to growth initiatives, capital structure decisions, and portfolio optimization opportunities
• Monitor broader macroeconomic and industrial market trends impacting clients and deal activity
• Help support origination efforts through company research, market mapping, pitch preparation, and strategic outreach initiatives
• Mentor and help develop Analysts while contributing to a collaborative team-oriented environment
• Manage multiple live projects simultaneously in a fast-paced transaction environment

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• MBA is a plus but not required
• 2–5 years of relevant experience within Investment Banking or Corporate Advisory
• Prior Industrials, Industrial Services, Building Products, Infrastructure Services, Business Services, or related sector experience strongly preferred
• Strong M&A transaction experience across buy-side and sell-side engagements preferred
• Strong understanding of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, accounting, and financial statement analysis
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-performance culture
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within lean deal teams
• FINRA licenses including Series 79 and 63 preferred
• Open to travel as required by clients and transaction activity
• Enthusiasm for Industrials, Industrial Services, Building Products, Infrastructure, Construction Services, or the broader Built Environment sector is highly valued
