Investment Banking MD – Remote (Multiple Industry)

We have been engaged by a high growth middle market Investment Banking platform looking to bring on several MDs in the near term. The firm has been around for a few decades and have increased investment into their Advisory business. In addition to Investment Banking, they have a buy side, RX and Capital Markets capabilities.

We are looking for someone with an existing book of business, experienced in originating and executing Transactions in the Industrials, Healthcare, Business/Tech Services and or Consumer space. A key sub sector of interest is Industrials/Business Services – Facility, Residential and/or Environmental Services. Other sub sectors such as Building Products, Engineering & Construction, Paper Packaging and Consumer Services will likely be considered.

Title: Industrials Investment Banking – Managing Director
Salary: $225,000 – $250,000 +Bonus
Location: REMOTE (Any where in the United States)

Basic Responsibilities:

• Be a key Industrials/Consumer/Healthcare Investment Banking MD on a growing platform
• Work alongside the Investment Banking team,
• Lead the junior team and provide mentorship
• Focus on originating of M&A mandates in the mid markets
• Travel as needed across the US to trade shows, industry events and networking gatherings
• Conduct research, stay up to date on the Industrials market trends and M&A activity to be able to continue building own business and bigger strategic firm initiatives
• Make industry connections to ultimately run a book of business in the middle market ($100mn-$500mn in EV)

Requirements:

• BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
• MBA is a plus from an accredited University
• Anywhere between 12-15 years of Investment Banking experience, ideally from a mid-market firm or a boutique, Bulge Bracket and Elite Boutique experience is a plus
• Industrials/Healthcare or Consumer Investment Banking experience is a requirement, deep sector expertise, revenue generating track record
• Excellent presentations, written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter and highly motivated
• Hunger and ambition to contribute to a growing platform
• Strong interpersonal, communications, listening skills and business acumen
• Strong drive and worth ethic to continue Origination in the middle markets,
• Relevant Investment Banking licenses such as Series 79, Series 63, Series 7
