A bit about the work:
You’ll handle planning, coding, troubleshooting, and supporting Oracle database systems (PL/SQL is key here). Some of it is design work, some is solving tricky issues that pop up, some is helping other teams use what you build. You’ll coordinate with vendors, sometimes lead projects, and you’ll play a big role in keeping things running smoothly 24/7.
A bit about you:
• You’ve spent at least 5 years writing PL/SQL code and know your way around Oracle, SQL, Postgres, and tools like Oracle SQL Developer.
• You know how to work independently, but you also like to be part of a team.
• You’re comfortable explaining technical stuff to non-technical people when needed.
• You’re reliable — when you say you’ll get it done, you do.
• You’re fine being part of an on-call rotation when needed.
• Bonus points if you’ve worked in the electric utility or energy industry — but it’s not a deal breaker.
