Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Location: Bronx, NY
Salary + Benefits: $150,000–$155,000

Responsibilities of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits in an outpatient setting (1 hour for initial evaluations, 30 minutes for follow-ups)
• Manage a caseload of primarily adult patients (25+) with a range of conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, schizophrenia, and substance use disorders
• Prescribe and monitor medications as clinically appropriate
• Collaborate closely with Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, social workers, and nursing staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to support best clinical practices
• Utilize EMR (EPOCH system) to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
• Provide telehealth services as part of a hybrid work model
• Work with medical assistants who support administrative tasks such as prior authorizations
• Engage in ongoing clinical learning and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
• Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Active or pending New York State PMHNP license
• Active DEA registration
• Master’s Degree from an accredited PMHNP program
• 1+ years of PMHNP experience required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
