Safety and Quality Control Manager

Title: Safety and Quality Control Manager
Location: Project-based CA | On-site
Compensation:$120,000 – $150,000 base salary

Responsibilities

Implement and manage the Contractor Quality Control and Health & Safety Plans, including preparatory meetings and inspections
Perform QC inspections, witness tests, and coordinate QA inspectors
Manage the submittal review process and maintain accurate inspection/performance records
Coordinate site safety efforts and ensure compliance with the Site-Specific Safety Plan
Manage subcontractor compliance with OSHA and EM 385-1-1
Identify hazards, develop activity hazard analyses, and proactively resolve safety/QC issues
Partner with the Superintendent to align safety and quality milestones with the project schedule
Participate in internal/external safety and QC audits

Qualifications

5+ years combined experience as PM, Superintendent, QC, Safety, or Management on construction projects
Experience on at least one $25M+ project
2+ years as a QC Manager
3+ years managing/overseeing construction safety
Federal construction experience, USACE preferred
USACE CQM certification required
Strong familiarity with EM 385-1-1
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification completed
24 hours of documented safety training within the past 5 years (excluding OSHA 30-Hr)
4-year degree, PE, or EIT a plus
