Senior Tax Advisor
Smith Arnold Partners
This fast-growing, advisor-led retirement planning firm is building a reputation for doing what many firms promise but rarely execute: integrating tax strategy directly into real-life retirement decisions. Over the past several years, the firm has experienced consistent year-over-year revenue growth, expanding both its client base and its professional team to meet rising demand.
With increasing client complexity—retirement income planning, Roth conversion strategies, RMD optimization, and multi-source income management—the firm continues to invest in building a stronger, more credible in-house tax capability. Headcount has steadily increased as the firm scales, with leadership committed to thoughtful, sustainable growth rather than short-term expansion.
Looking ahead, the organization is focused on deepening its tax-planning integration, enhancing client experience, and continuing to grow as a trusted partner for retirement-age households who expect clarity, accuracy, and proactive advice.

“Leadership genuinely respects tax expertise here—it’s not treated as a back-office function. You’re part of the client solution.”
“Busy season is real, but the expectations are clear, the team supports each other, and the work is meaningful.”
