Position Details

Job Title: Solutions Architect III (Guidewire)
Location: Worcester County, Massachusetts
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 Days Per Week In Office)
Salary Range: $150,000 – $180,000

Responsibilities

Design and deliver scalable, secure, and reliable technical solutions that align with business goals and requirements.
Lead solution architecture efforts across Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter platforms.
Create architecture diagrams, technical designs, integration strategies, and supporting documentation.
Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that balance scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, engineers, and Agile teams to ensure successful delivery.
Communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Identify, assess, and mitigate architectural risks related to security, scalability, integration, and system performance.
Conduct performance analysis and recommend optimization opportunities.
Establish and promote architecture standards, best practices, and governance.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
Oversee solution implementation, enhancement, and long-term support activities.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards, industry regulations, and security requirements.
Influence strategic architectural decisions and contribute to the organization’s long-term technology vision.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in software development, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture roles.
Extensive experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale technology solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Guidewire PolicyCenter
Guidewire ClaimCenter
Guidewire BillingCenter
Insurance Policy Administration Platforms
Proven success leading large-scale architecture initiatives from conception through implementation.
Deep understanding of enterprise architecture principles, APIs, integrations, cloud technologies, and modern application design.
Ability to independently solve complex architectural challenges and drive technical decision-making.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience influencing technical strategy across multiple teams and business functions.
