Rich Gold is a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC) and has been a leader on Smith Arnold Partners’ finance recruiting team since 2002. He brings three decades of experience recruiting in Connecticut and previously spent more than ten years as the top recruiter at Fairfaxx Corporation, a leading apparel and retail executive search firm.

Rich specializes in recruiting high-impact finance & accounting leadership professionals, with strong expertise in placing internal audit, risk, and compliance. His work spans the New England and Tri-State markets, plus he has successfully completed searches across the United States and internationally.

Recognized for consistent performance, Rich has earned Finance Recruiter of the Year honors at Smith Arnold Partners (2011–2025), with multiple Gold and Platinum awards, and distinction as Recruiting Consultant of the Year. He has held CPC certification since 2002 and is an active member of CAPS, NAPS, and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

A Ridgefield, CT native and long-time Norwalk resident, Rich holds a bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and remains active in alumni and community leadership activities, including service on multiple condominium association boards.
