Accounts Receivable Specialist – Hospital

We are an academic acute care medical center and one of New York’s premier academic health systems comprised of 10 hospitals and more than 200 outpatient ambulatory care sites. We are currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Hospital Supervisor to join our fast-paced and growing Revenue Cycle Operations team. As the Accounts Receivable Hospital Supervisor you will be accountable for the supervision of hospital billing, follow-up, denials, and pre-adjudication functions.

Position: Accounts Receivable Hospital Supervisor
Location Tarrytown, NY – HYBRID
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm
Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities

Coordinates, prioritizes, distributes supervise work for team and is responsible for hiring, progressive discipline and terminating of employees.
Ensures proper staffing/scheduling of associates and addresses quality of work, errors, and in-servicing of associates while monitoring and ensuring quality and integrity of work by doing random audits
Works with department Directors and Managers to ensure compliance with departmental policies, regulatory requirements, budget, and Human Resources.

Requirements:

An Associate’s Degree is preferred however, extensive revenue cycle experience acceptable in lieu of Associates Degree, and a minimum of 3+years prior Hospital Accounts Receivable experience
Must be detail oriented and-have exceptional interpersonal abilities, including strong written and verbal communication skills along with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while achieving positive outcomes
Excellent Leadership Skills in a Team Lead position, however your current title doesn’t have to be Team Lead, as long as your responsibilitioes were or areTeam Lead
