Title: Assistant Program Director – Intensive Mobile Treatment (IMT)
Location: Bronx, NY
Salary + Benefits: $80,000- $82,000 annually, comprehensive benefits package, growth opportunities, and a flexible, team-oriented work environment
Responsibilities of Assistant Program Director:
• Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the Program Director to ensure smooth program functioning
• Deliver direct clinical services while maintaining a leadership presence within the team
• Supervise, mentor, and support multidisciplinary staff, including conducting regular supervision sessions
• Oversee timely completion of assessments, service plans, and documentation in compliance with program standards
• Ensure accurate and prompt reporting for both internal and external requirements
• Support recruitment efforts by identifying staffing needs, screening candidates, and coordinating with HR
• Promote a collaborative, person-centered approach to care that emphasizes participant choice, recovery, and independence
• Assist in crisis management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution within the team and with participants
• Help maintain a high standard of care through staff training, coaching, and performance oversight
Requirements of Assistant Program Director:
• Active New York State license as an LCSW (preferred) or LMHC
• Minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience working with adults in a behavioral health setting
• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience preferred
• Experience working within multidisciplinary or mobile treatment teams is a plus
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working in community-based settings and using public transportation
• Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends as needed
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Excel
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
• Must be able to pass background clearance through the New York State Justice Center
