Attending Psychiatrist ( 3 Days per week)

A respected and mission-driven behavioral health organization in the Bronx is seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join their residential treatment team. Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Bronx, NY (On-site, Residential Program)
Salary: $150 to $180/hour
Benefits: Hourly part-time role; malpractice coverage provided (no additional benefits)

Responsibilities of the Psychiatrist:
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for residents within the program.
• Collaborate closely with clinical, nursing, and support staff to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and clinical oversight as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Myevolv electronic health record system.
• Participate in care team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts.
• Work 3 days per week, totaling 21 hours, with schedule options of 10am–6pm or 11am–7pm.

Requirements of the Psychiatrist:
• Active NYS Medical License and Board Certification/Eligibility in Psychiatry.
• Experience working in a residential, inpatient, or community mental health setting preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort working with diverse, high-need populations.
• Familiarity with Myevolv or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to work fully on-site within the Bronx-based residential program.
