Clinical Supervisor – LCSW

A well-established and highly respected behavioral health and human services organization is seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor (LCSW) to join its Behavioral Health team in Long Island City.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned clinician who is ready to take the next step in their career and combine clinical leadership, staff supervision, direct therapy, and program development in a mission-driven environment.
The Clinical Supervisor will serve as a key member of the clinical leadership team, providing supervision and mentorship to social work staff while maintaining a limited clinical caseload. The position offers the opportunity to work with individuals who have experienced involvement with the criminal justice system and help clients overcome barriers related to mental health, trauma, substance use, and reentry.

Title: Clinical Supervisor – LCSW
Location: Long Island City, NY
Salary: $85,000 annually
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with one late day per week from 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Hybrid — 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Employment Type: Full-Time; Exempt

Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive initial client assessments and psychosocial evaluations.
• Establish strong therapeutic relationships and maintain a person-centered approach to care.
• Provide ongoing individual counseling and weekly group therapy.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with agency requirements.
• Coordinate clinical care and communicate effectively with other members of the treatment team.
• Collaborate with staff across programs and locations when clients receive services from multiple departments.
• Connect clients with appropriate external resources and community-based services.
• Participate in case conferences, clinical supervision meetings, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Provide clinical supervision, consultation, and ongoing support to LMSW/LMHC staff and other clinical team members.

Qualifications:
• Active New York State LCSW required.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with individuals affected by mental health conditions, trauma, substance use, or incarceration strongly preferred.
• CASAC credential is a plus.
• SIFI certification is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
• Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills.
