Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Location: Manhattan, NY (Conveniently located off West 48th Street)
Salary: $145,000 to $160,000 + Exceptional Union Benefits + Monday–Friday Schedule + No Weekends or On-Call

Responsibilities of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adult patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Conduct thorough 60-minute psychiatric assessments and 30-minute follow-up medication management appointments, allowing ample time for quality patient care.
Manage a balanced daily caseload of approximately 6–7 patients, fostering meaningful clinical relationships and optimal treatment outcomes.
Collaborate with a highly experienced team of psychiatric prescribers and behavioral health professionals to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary care.
Provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) utilizing evidence-based practices to support recovery and long-term wellness.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the EclinicalWorks electronic medical record system.
Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a structured outpatient environment dedicated to improving lives.
Help continue the strong clinical legacy of a highly respected long-term Nurse Practitioner who is retiring after years of dedicated service.

Requirements of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner:
Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification.
Minimum of 1 year of PMHNP experience required; 2+ years preferred.
Experience treating patients with addiction, substance use disorders, co-occurring psychiatric conditions, or MAT populations.
Comfortable working with adult patients in an outpatient behavioral health setting.
Strong clinical assessment skills, sound judgment, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative team-oriented approach.
Experience with electronic medical records; EclinicalWorks experience is a plus.
