We have an exiting new opportunity with our growing non profit organization for a Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our team of behavioral prescribers, nurses, and social workers. You would be given an in depth training process and an opportunity to enhance your skill set and future career growth as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse. We have been providing care to patients in the underserved community for over 30 years and serve thousands of patients across the five burroughs of New York. This opportunity would be full time 35 hours per week. The scheduled hours are flexible either 9-5, 8-4, or even 10-6. Title: Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Manhattan NY
Salary: $92,000 to $94,000 + 1199 Union Benefits

Responsibilities:

Working with patients suffering from various degrees of mental health illness
Giving IM injections when necessary
Keeping track of when medications are scheduled to be given
Working closely with Prescribers and LPN on staff
Documenting notes in EMR system
Helping with coordination of care to pharmacy
Involved in medication ordering
Participating in team meetings when necessary
Working closely with team oriented staff members to provide best care possible

Requirements:

Associates Degree of Nursing
BLS
New York State Registered Nurse license
Strong communication skills
Will see new graduates
Attention to detail
