We are currently seeking a Senior Application Imaging Analyst to join our IT team, which supports and optimizes over many state-of-the-art Clinical Imaging Solutions in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and related specialties.
This role is central to ensuring seamless integration, performance, and advancement of imaging technologies that drive precision and efficiency in patient care
Position: Sr. Imaging Application Analyst
Location: Bronx, NY (Hybrid)
Salary: $110,000 – $135,000
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with operations and IT teams to understand and respond to needs
Installs new applications, new components, and upgrades existing applications. Configures application settings and validates configurations
Analyzes complex problems and identifies solutions to determine how a new system, upgrade, release, or new component can best meet user needs
Performs a thorough evaluation of workflows, analyzes business/clinical requirements, interprets end user requirements, and helps stakeholders move towards an optimal solution
Prepares detailed requirements specifications and provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and configuring systems and procedures that meet user requirements
Create test plans and test new systems, version upgrades and any system modification. Document all outcomes of testing and serve as the support contact for the application
Assist with defining go-live and rollout support schedule. Provide go-live, rollout, downtime support, assist with field support activities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
IT experience in patient care settings / medical centers
Knowledge of DICOM, DICOM RT, HL7, IHE and other health related standards
Critical thinking skills; strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent follow up skills, documentation skills and organizational skills
Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities
Desired:
Experience implementing, troubleshooting, testing and supporting PACS and/or clinical imaging systems
Knowledge of the workflows associated with Radiology and/or Cardiology, and experience supporting medical center end-users
Experience working with multiple operating systems, modalities and clinical systems
