What Makes This Opportunity Interesting?
The foundation is already in place.
Several business units have been onboarded, the platform is operational, and leadership is committed to expanding enterprise data capabilities. Your initial focus will be optimizing and strengthening the product data domain before helping bring additional domains into the platform.
You’ll be working on challenges that matter:
• Designing and refining product hierarchies
• Eliminating duplicate records through sophisticated match-and-merge strategies
• Building trusted golden records
• Improving data quality, stewardship, and governance processes
• Scaling MDM architecture across future domains
• Partnering with business and technical leaders to improve how data is managed and consumed across the enterprise
This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex data problems, not just managing a platform.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Lead the architecture and evolution of the enterprise MDM environment
• Design scalable master data models across product and future domains
• Develop match, merge, survivorship, and golden record strategies
• Create and optimize product hierarchies, classifications, and reference data structures
• Define integration patterns between MDM, ERP, CRM, eCommerce, analytics, and downstream systems
• Implement and improve data quality frameworks, governance workflows, and stewardship processes
• Drive MDM platform scalability, performance, and adoption
• Partner with data governance, business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to establish enterprise standards
• Support expansion into additional master data domains over time
What We’re Looking For:
We’re interested in professionals who can both architect and execute.
You should have strong hands-on experience with:
• Stibo Systems STEP MDM (preferred)
• Profisee
• Or another leading enterprise MDM platform
You should also bring experience with:
• Product Information Management (PIM) and product master data
• Product hierarchy design and management
• Match & Merge strategies
• Survivorship rules and golden record creation
• Data quality frameworks and governance workflows
• Data modeling and enterprise integration architecture
• ERP, CRM, and analytics platform integrations
• Master data governance and stewardship programs
Ideal Background
• 8+ years working in MDM, Data Architecture, Data Governance, or Enterprise Data Management
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale MDM implementations
• Strong understanding of data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance concepts
• Experience working within Azure-based data ecosystems is highly desirable
• Manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, or product-centric environments are a plus
